Next Wave Cities Program


Description

The Next Wave Cities (NWC) Program aims to provide access to digital jobs and opportunities which has significantly contributed to the economic growth of the countryside or regions outside of Metro Manila. Through the NWC Program, government, business, academe and other stakeholders collaborate to maximize the use of Information and Communications Technology. Today, out of the 1.1 million direct workers in the Philippine Information Technology and Business Process Management (IT-BPM) sector, around 300,000+ are based in IT-BPM Centers in Next Wave Cities providing remarkable economic benefits to the Philippine countryside.
